Director's Message

To our wonderful Community,

Welcome to Star Academy, a place where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. It is my privilege to serve as the Director of a school dedicated to nurturing not only academic growth but emotional well-being, personal strength, and resilience.

We understand that each student who walks through our doors brings a unique story, filled with both challenges and potential. At Star Academy, we believe in meeting students where they are—emotionally, socially, and academically—and walking beside them every step of the way.

Our staff is specially trained and deeply committed to creating a safe, structured, and compassionate environment where your child can thrive. We work in close partnership with families because we know that trust and communication between home and school are essential for meaningful progress.  My passion for students with disabilities drives me to create an atmosphere at STAR Academy that is positive, safe and conducive to learning for all students. I bring an energy and enthusiasm to campus that makes this a place where our students want to come every day to learn and grow as individuals.

We are focused on helping students build emotional regulation skills, develop strong peer relationships, and find confidence in their ability to learn and grow. Whether your child is just beginning their journey with us or continuing it, please know they are in a community that believes in their future.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child. We look forward to working together to make this year one of growth, healing, and hope.
Warm regards,

Ms. Hailee Nanchy
